Floser Presented at ABA’s Annual Conference

Johanne M. Floser, Business Advisory Services Client Manager at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs P.C. (TBC) was invited to be a speaker at the recent American Business Appraisers (ABA) National Network’s annual convention held in Palm Desert, California from April 28 through May 2, 2015.  Floser’s presentation focused on Replacement Compensation issues as they relate to business valuations.

Floser spoke, by webcast, to an audience of seasoned and experienced valuation experts from across the United States and Israel.  The ABA is a network of credentialed business valuation appraisers that provide business appraisal and consulting services in taxation, litigation, transaction, and regulatory compliance matters.

During her career, Floser has conducted valuations of privately held business enterprises and professional practices, as well as assessments of advanced academic degrees and professional licenses, for use in matrimonial matters, litigation, buy/sell transactions, estate tax proceedings and other circumstances.  Floser received a Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) designation from Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc. (IBA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation from the National Association of Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).

In addition, she is a member of the IBA, NACVA and ABA, as well as the Capital District Women’s Bar Association (CDWBA), a chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York.  Floser is also on the board of directors of The Legal Project, a private, not-for-profit organization that provides a variety of free and low cost legal services to the working poor, victims of domestic violence and other underserved individuals in the Capital District of New York.
