How to access and use the ShareFile Portal
How to log in
- Enter https://tbccpa.sharefile.com in any Web browser.
- Your username is your email address associated with the account.
- Enter your password, and click “Log In”.
Note: If you cannot remember your password or do not yet have an account, click “Forgot password?” at the bottom of the page to create a new password/create an account. If you create an account, please contact TBC to get access to your client files within ShareFile.
How to access the folder/portal
1. From the home screen after log in click on the folders option on the left side.
2. Select shared folders, this will show you a list of any portals/folders in which you have permission to access.
How to upload a file to folders
- Using the upload button
- Navigate to the folder to which you’d like to upload a file in your ShareFile account, and click on the “+” on the top right, select “Upload”.
- On the next screen, drag and drop the files you wish to upload from your computer folder or desktop to the box on the screen.
- After placing all files you wish to upload in the box, click Upload Files. If successful, a green box will appear at the top of the folder screen that says, “File(s) uploaded successfully.”

- You may also upload by navigating to the correct folder and simply dragging and dropping any files you wish to upload.
How to download a file from a folder
- Navigate to the folder in your ShareFile account that contains the file you wish to download.
- Click on the square next to the file (if in list view) or in the top left of the file (if in thumbnail view).
- Once clicked, the download button will appear toward the top of the screen. Click download. You may download as many files as you wish.
- You may also preview the file and then select download on the right side.
How to create a folder
- Navigate to the main folder to which you’d like to create a folder (i.e. “To Firm”), and click the “+” on the right hand side of the screen.
- Click create folder (second option)
- Enter a name for the folder with appropriate details and click “Create Folder”

How to upload a file to a request for documents
- You will receive an email from a member of TBC with either a ShareFile URL or a “Click here to upload files”.
- Click on the link.
- On the screen that appears, drag and drop the files you wish to upload into the “Drag Files Here” box.
- Click upload on the bottom left corner.
How to download a file from a link
- You will receive an email from a member of TBC labeled “Citrix Attachments.”
- Click on the “Download Attachments” button.
- Log into Citrix. See instructions on how to log in below.
- The file will open in a preview pane. Click download in the top right to download.
- If there are multiple files, they will automatically download in a zip file.
