Seven consecutive years of TBC being named a Top Workplace by the Times Union

We are pleased to announce that this year is the seventh consecutive year that Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. (TBC) has been named a “Top Workplace” by the Times Union. In order to be considered for this award, employees have to nominate their employer and complete workplace satisfaction surveys. The winning nominees were announced on April 11, 2018 at Albany Capital Center, and then published in the Sunday paper on April 15.

“Receiving the news that TBC has won this award for the seventh year in a row made me extremely proud, to say the least. We have been consistently expanding our workforce throughout the last year, and it makes me happy to know that our newer employees have the same pride and passion for TBC as our more seasoned employees do,” said James Drislane, managing partner at TBC.

Another employee who began his career at TBC as a college intern and just recently joined the firm full-time in January, Josh Conn, shared his views on the announcement of the award. “Although I have only been here fulltime for a few months now, I have truly enjoyed my internship and permanent employment. It has been rewarding to already have worked with several shareholders, partners, managers, and staff that consistently show appreciation of your work,” said Conn.

TBC has experienced significant growth over the last 47 years and employs over 85 full-time professionals. Drislane and the shareholders believe the enthusiasm, commitment, and longevity of its employees contribute greatly to its success. The Firm often hosts employee outings, promotes wellness through lunch and learns with community partners like the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Serving clients in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax, and advisory services, the Firm offers specialty services such as trusts and estates administration, business advisory, valuation, litigation support, fraud investigation, forensic accounting, and pension services for a diverse clientele in six primary markets: commercial businesses, governmental, employee benefit plans, labor organizations, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. Commercial clientele includes construction contractors, distributors, manufacturers, professional service firms, automotive dealers, real estate developers, retailers, technology companies, and wholesalers among other businesses.
