“Things are never quite as scary when you’ve got a best friend.” Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to establishing opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with disabilities such as Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and more.
Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. (TBC) happily sponsored the 4th annual Best Buddies’ Women Making a Difference Luncheon and Fashion Show on April 2, 2016. A few employees attended the event not only to support the local chapters of Best Buddies, but to support a fellow coworker and Women Making A Difference committee member, Michela Paniccia.
This year’s event took place at Wolfert’s Roost Country Club in Albany. The day was filled with laughter, friendship, and many activities including the fashion show, a silent auction, and a raffle. TBC is very proud to have an employee that is so dedicated to such an important and heartwarming cause, and is overjoyed to sponsor the event.
