The Times Union Names TBC a Top Workplace

TBC has announced that the firm has been named to a Times Union Top Workplace in the Capital Region. TBC, an accounting and advisory firm founded in 1971, has received the award for the second consecutive year. Companies included in the Time Union’s Top Workplaces list were selected from a survey of employees measuring qualities such as company leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation and benefits.

“For the second year, our employees have nominated us as a Top Workplace. That in itself is a true credit to the work environment that we have here. Then, to go on and win this accolade is an even greater honor,” said managing partner, Robert H. Kind.

With over 80 employees, many of which have collected over 20 years of employment at TBC, the firm credits much of its success to the dedication, commitment and longevity of its employees. The firm regularly hosts employee outings, promotes wellness and has highly competitive compensation and benefits. Employees are given support for the CPA Exam and other professional designations, as well as opportunities to further their industry knowledge through Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses and conferences, both locally and nationally.

TBC offers accounting and auditing, personal and corporate tax, trusts and estates, business advisory, valuation, litigation support services, fraud investigation, forensic accounting and pension services for a diversified clientele in five primary markets: commercial businesses, governmental, employee benefit plans, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. Commercial clientele includes construction contractors, distributors, manufacturers, professional service firms, automotive dealers, real estate developers, retailers, technology companies and wholesalers among other businesses.
