TBC sends two delegates to international tax and accounting meeting in Atlanta

Steve Cardinal, Partner and Ryan Smith, Partner, with the accounting firm of Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. (TBC) were delegates to CPAmerica International’s 2013 International Tax and Accounting Meeting in Atlanta, Ga. The conference took place earlier this month.

The meeting, which is an annual event sponsored by CPAmerica, brings together accounting professionals within the association membership to discuss international business development and strategy, networking, member sharing and continuing professional education.

“The relationship that we have with CPAmerica affords us many opportunities to be a “big” firm with a personal touch,” said Smith. “There are many advantages in having a face-to-face meeting with other international group members, one of which being that it allows us to make more personal connections with the individuals that will help TBC strengthen its international capabilities.”

The agenda for the event included a variety of outside speakers and topics. Topics covered included: Using Uncle Sam to Identify and Develop Export Markets, International Tax Toolkit, Accounting & Auditing, Creating and Managing an International Business Practice, International Business Development Member Sharing Exercise, What does Exceptional International Business service look like?, International Business Development Exercise Workshop, International Business Action Plan.
