Leah Gillham, CPA and Ben Henderson, CPA have become the most recent additions to the constantly increasing workforce at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. (TBC), the Capital Region’s largest accounting and advisory firm. The announcement was made by James Drislane, the Firm’s managing partner.

Both of the new hires have very similar backgrounds. Gillham is a graduate of the University of Albany, earning her Masters in Tax degree in 2012 after completing her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Accounting, also at the University of Albany. She has had previous experience at a large public accounting firm before beginning her employment with the Firm.

Henderson received his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Accounting, from Marist College in 2011. He then pursued his Masters in Tax at the University of Albany, graduating in 2012. He gained over three years of experience at a prevalent public accounting firm before launching his career with the Firm.

There are now 95 employees at TBC, who all work out of one office location at 7 Washington Square. Drislane discussed that he expects the Firm’s employment number to increase even more so, potentially up to 100 people with the addition of seasonal workers this tax season.
