TBC Forensic Accounting Director presents to CPAs in North Carolina

Pamela D. Wickes, Director of Forensic Accounting at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs P.C. (TBC) was invited to speak to certified public accountants, certified fraud examiners, forensic accountants and other accounting and auditing professionals at the Fraud and Forensic Accounting Conference hosted by the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA). The conference was held on December 17, 2013 at the Grandover Resort & Conference Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.

During her two sessions, “Money Laundering: Tracing Illicit Funds” and “Cutting Edge Tips in Today’s World of Fraud,” Wickes drew upon her nearly 20 years of experience in the accounting industry and, more specifically, the in depth knowledge that she has garnered from approximately 10 years of working in the areas of prevention, deterrence and detection of fraud and other forensic accounting and litigation support services..

In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Wickes is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV). During her career, Wickes has gained a diversified experience in the areas of private and public accounting, fraud investigations, forensic accounting, internal control assessments, asset tracing, economic damages, family law, business valuations, and other litigation support services. She provides consulting and expert witness services to assist attorneys and clients prior to and throughout lawsuits, as well as during settlement negotiations.
