Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. is pleased to announce that Michael Lorusso, a senior accountant at the Firm, and Theresa Amodeo, a junior accountant, have each received their Certified Public Accounting licenses.

Lorusso started his career at TBC in 2012, after earning both his Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting from Siena College. He is internally involved at TBC being a part of the Automotive Dealerships Niche Committee. Amodeo started at TBC in August of 2014 after working for an international public accounting firm for two years. She also received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from Siena College. Outside of the office, she is a member of the Wildwood Foundation Finance Committee.

In earning their CPA licenses, both Amodeo and Lorusso successfully passed four sections of the exam, including Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Business Environment and Concepts (BEC), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), and Regulation (REG). The CPA exam tests an individual’s primary understanding and ability to apply auditing and accounting standards that are universally adopted, and this designation is globally recognized.

Serving clients in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax, and advisory services, TBC offers specialty services such as trusts and estates administration, business advisory, business valuation, litigation support services, fraud investigation, forensic accounting, economic damage calculations, and pension services. The traditional accounting and tax services are provided to a diverse clientele in six primary markets: commercial businesses, governmental, employee benefit plans, labor organizations, not-for-profit organizations, and individuals. Commercial clientele includes construction contractors, distributors, manufacturers, professional service firms, automotive dealers, real estate developers, retailers, technology companies, and wholesalers among other businesses.
