New Partners Announced at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C.

Albany based accounting and advisory firm Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. (TBC) has announced the promotion of two audit managers to partners. Joining the ranks of partner are Scott A. Kind, CPA and Sarah Robinson, CPA. Kind joined the Firm in 2002 and Robinson has been with TBC since 1999.

Scott A. Kind

In his previous position as audit manager, Kind’s main responsibilities included managing and supervising a large client base with a concentration in, but not limited to, construction, real estate development and not-for-profit organizations. As partner, he will continue to oversee engagements within these industries and look to increase his involvement with outside organizations. Kind is a member of Northeastern Subcontractors Association, a trade association that he has been particularly active within the organization’s newly founded Young Professionals Committee. In addition, he is involved with the Capital Region Homebuilders and Remodelers Association. Additionally, he will continue to serve as a member of the firm’s internal construction and real estate committees. Kind is a graduate of Siena College with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.

Sarah Robinson
Sarah Robinson

Robinson works with commercial clients, government entities and employee benefit funds. As a member of the Firm’s internal employee benefit plan audit committee and accounting and auditing committee, she has garnered much expertise in these areas of the business in particular. She meets all continuing professional education requirements in accordance with Governmental Auditing Standards and Circular A-133. Recently, Robinson has been an active member of the Empire Business Network and outside of work, she sits on the board of directors for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. In her new role she will be directly responsible for client account management and additionally, she will continue to lead the monthly senior accountant round tables that the Firm administers. A graduate of the College of Saint Rose, Robinson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
