Sunday was the big day, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at Washington Park. All month long, we have raised money for breast cancer research and on Sunday our TBC employees, as well as their friends and family, gathered to walk in memory of our dear colleague Traci Daoust who we lost to breast cancer in 2015. It was a huge success with nearly 16,000 walkers in attendance.  In Traci’s memory, the TBC team was able to raise $3,780 for the walk from employee initiatives and employees personal fundraising efforts. Additionally, the shareholders had donated $6,000 to the American Cancer Society at our annual picnic this past August. Thank you to all of the TBC employees who walked, fundraised, and wore pink this month, and a special thanks to our Partner Paula Pierce for coordinating the TBC team for now 8 consecutive years.
